Burning Crusade Classic Herbalism

The following World of Warcraft guide everything revolves in Burning Crusade Classic Herbalism and how to increase its level.

The TBC Classic Herbalism leveling guide will present you the quickest method of advancing Herbalism from 1 to 375 to 375 Burning Crusade Classic.

If you're working on leveling Alchemy in addition to herbalism, be sure to go through my TBC Classic Alchemy leveling guide. However consider, this guide is intended to get you to the next level at the speed that is most feasible and the plants that you'll be cultivating might not be ideal for Alchemy.

1 - 50

Collection of Silverleaf and Peacebloom

* Mulgore. Just do circuits round the base of Thunderbluff and pick Silverleaf in addition to Peacebloom.

* Make circuits around Dolanaar going South East around the lake returning to Dolanaar If your Alliance includes complete loops around Elwynn Forest.

* To play Undead, try beginning with Solliden Farmstead in Tirisfal Glades then run north towards the mills, and then turn around before returning south passing Stillwater Pond and onto Cold Hearth Manor and Nightmare Vale. Then back up until Solliden Farmstead again. (Thanks Olmolmtyr, who provided the info)

You will find Peacebloom and Silverleaf all over your primary starting area (not within it, but in the vicinity of it). Thus the initial 50 levels should be very simple.

51 - 70

The collection of Mageroyal and Earthroot

* Go west from Crossroads and then turn north prior to the entry point into Stonetalon Mountains and follow around until you get to the area where the harpies reside Then head east toward the Gold road, then head south until Crossroads again, choosing Mage Royal, Earthroot, Peacebloom and Silverleaf while you travel.

* For Alliance begin in northern Westfall and follow the coast south towards Deadmines and then go straight to Sentinel Hill and back up to the north . choosing Mageroyal.

* You can also complete Gol'Bolar Quarry tours at Dun Morogh, collecting Earthroot while you travel. (Thanks to Flareon for that info)

71 - 100

Collecting Briarthorn

* Same same route as previously (for Horde), but extend it east to Sludge Fen. Picking Briarthorn as of now.

You can extend your runs to cover all in The Barrens, as this area is awash with of Briarthorn and other plants. It's a great place to start getting your herbalism up.

* Southern part of Silverpine Forest, from Pyrewood Village, all the way to The Entrance into Hillsbrad Foothills and back again.

The same route is used as previously (for Alliance) or do circuits of Twilight Grove in Duskwood.

* Also for Alliance, just wander from north to south through Darkshore for plenty of Briarthorn.

* The eastern portion of Loch Modan is also a great place for Briarthorn.

* You can also do circuits of Lakeshire in the Redridge Mountains.

101 - 115

Collecting Bruiseweed

* Start with beginning at the Ramparts located in Ashenvale and head north-east to the Splintertree Post (dont follow the road, try to go exactly straight, there are more plants along the route) After that, head west from Splintertree Post to the second bridge. Head south from here past the Moonwell and then head back west to the ramparts when you get to the end on the map. Pick Bruiseweed while you travel.

* Stonetalon Mountains. Go to Camp Aparaje, head west towards the Grimtotem Post Then south to Malaka'jin before heading east to Malaka'jin, and finally east to Greatwood Vale. Nice run of Bruiseweed there.

*The Field of Giants in Southern Barrens or between the two Razorfens.

* You can also circle northern part of Mystral Lake for Bruiseweed or towards the west from Astranaar within Ashenvale.

* Windshear Crag in Stonetalon Mountains.

* The eastern coastline of Loch Modan.

* The Circuits of Stonewatch continue to be their locations in Redridge Mountains.

116 - 125

Collecting Wild Steelbloom

* Visit Stonetalon Peak and do circuits of the tiny area surrounding The Alliance Town and the Talon Den gathering wild steelbloom.

* For higher levels , make full circuits of Arathi Highlands, sticking to the mountain side (as it's the area you'll see Wild Steelbloom)

* Nek'mani Wellspring located in Stranglethorn Vale.

The Zuuldaia Ruins north of Grom'gol in Stranglethorn Vale.

* Go through Black Channel Marsh in the Wetlands to Angerfang Encampment while taking in the Whelgar's Excavation Site as you go.

* Go through The Field of Giants in the southern Barrens to the two Razorfens and back up again.

* Between The Great Lift and Highperch in Thousand Needles.

*From now on, you'll have to be making circuits around the full map, so you'll be required to study your own routes.

126 - 160

Collecting Kingsblood

The full circuit of Ashenvale to gather Kingsblood.

* Circuits of The Charred Vale in Stonetalon Mountains.

* Full circuits of The Wetlands.

The circuits are full of Hillsbrad Foothills.

* The Misty Reed Stand in Swamp of Sorrows.

161 - 185

Collecting Fadeleaf

* Complete Circuits Swamp of Sorrows to collect Fadeleaf (sell these to Rogues for a nice profits).

186 - 205

In the process of collecting Khadgar's Whisker

* Full tour of The Hinterlands to collect Khadgar's Whisker.

* The Witherbark Village and Ogre Compound in Arthai Highlands.

* You may also decide to remain in Swamp of Sorrows, as there's plenty of Khadgar's Whiskers there.

206 - 230

Collecting Firebloom

* Full circuits of Searing Gorge to collect Firebloom.

Complete circuits through Blasted Lands.

* Tanaris also has a lot, but doing full circuits takes time. You can divide Tanaris into four parts and make circuits this way.

231 - 250

Collecting Sungrass

* Full circuits of Felwood to gather Sungrass. This is actually more of an zig-zag pattern instead of being a circuit (also try to do it as a Cleansing Felwood quest, and collect Windblossom Berries, Nightdragons, Whipper Roots, and even a Songflower Serenade buff when needed).

* Feralas is also a fantastic place to get Sungrass. There are two circuits you can take in this area. One begins in the northern part of the west near The Ruins of Ravenwind and goes south until The High Wilderness and one that runs around The Lower Wilds, Lariss Pavillion, Grimtotem Compound and Woodpaw Hills located near Camp Mojache.

* You can do circuits in The Forlorn Ridge in Azshara.

* You may also try the main road across The Hinterlands too. When you travel one way, stay about 50m away from the path and continue in the opposite direction.

251 - 270

Collecting Gromsblood

* Complete Circuits made of Felwood to collect Gromsblood. Please refer to the above notes.

* Do circuits in the form of Mannoroc Coven in Desolace for Gromsblood as well.

Complete circuits through Blasted Lands.

* Demon Fall Canyon in Ashenvale It is not a lot of people's interest about this area, so although it's not huge, it can be good in the field of farming Gromsblood.

271 - 285 or 290 (see below)

Collecting Dreamfoil

* Full circuits of the Un'goro Crater to find Dreamfoil.

Two great routes to Azshara are:

* Starting from The Forlorn Ridge, head towards the south east until you reach the Ravencrest Monument and back again.

* From the north in the Ruins of Eldareth Head north-east to the Jagged Reaches, and then back.

285 or 290 - 300

From 285 you can get Plagueblooms from doing circuits that include Eastern and Western Plaguelands and Felwood, but if your are not competing with a large number of other players, you should try to get Icecaps from Winterspring, as they will fetch more money

Herbalism from 300 to 375

It was just a matter of throwing this together quickly, if it's of value to anyone, then I'm pleased but if not, take it off your list.

300-330 (or 345 if decide to) - Felwood

I know you were all probably looking for something more exotic and in the outlands, but Felwood really is the location to be in if you're thinking of it from a perspective of lvling. Because of the impact of TBC there isn't a lot of farming here, and you get the bonus of Whipper Roots and Whipper Roots. that, while old-fashioned, still aren't on the same timetable as pots, therefore if your a raider they can save your ass.

I generally begin at the flight path for the alliance, going up round the Furbolg village, before following the south-facing perimeter. I've provided a map for anyone not sure of the best route to go.

Pick everything that's at least green for you. Plaguebloom Dreamfoil and Mountain Silversage provide about a level every bush for 330. whilst the plague that is Sungrass, Arthas' Tears and Purple Lotus are green, they'll still give you a level fairly consistently so it's definetly worth picking them. If your memory is right, sometime about 340 Plaguebloom goes green, and you start getting levels less often, you could decide to hold in the game, particularly if don't have a huge flying mount due to the densely packed herbs, and the fact that they are in low demand among players, and always noting you've got Golden Sansam, Mountain Silversage and Dreamfoil still sell very well on most servers.

330 (or 345) - 350+ - Zangarmarsh

Zangarmarsh is a plethora of herbs, all of which are beneficial. My favourite are is the North-West area, being packed with herbs and Bog Lords (or Giants that can be made herbal (If this is even a word) after having been looted. I tend to zig-zag across it, before moving toward the beginning to do the samething, however , on servers with a lot of players there might be another player taking the same route, so extending your route to sweep the area from the south-west and over the northern border could bring excellent rewards as well. Expect lots of Felweed and Ragveil. There may also be the occasional Dreamfoil or Dreaming Glory.

I've provided a map, despite this one being largely simple to explain as was the last one.

When you hit 350, the world is your oyster for the rest of the time. I decided to go on my Zangar route all the way up to 375 however it's also possible for you to continue to Shadowmoon or elsewhere. .
